Rydr uses a minimal set of cookies, all strictly necessary for the Service to function. We do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies.
access_token

3. Local Storage
We store the following in your browser's local storage (not cookies):
- rydr-theme: Your selected color theme preference.
- rydr-map-style: Your selected map style.
- rydr:forecast-extra-spots:<account>: Spots you added to your forecast dashboard, kept per account on this device.
- rydr:forecast-units: Your forecast units (metres or feet, km/h or knots).
This data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Some third-party services embedded on Rydr may set their own cookies:
Instagram Embeds
When you view an embedded Instagram post, Instagram (Meta) may set cookies in your browser. These are governed by Meta's Privacy Policy.
Cloudflare
Cloudflare may set a __cf_bm cookie for bot detection. This is a functional cookie required for security.
Mapbox
Mapbox may use local storage for map tile caching. No tracking cookies are set.
5. Managing Cookies
You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking our essential cookies will prevent you from signing in. For instructions on managing cookies, refer to your browser's help documentation.
